The job required CSM Plus for Hotels and Restaurants package be installed. After speaking with owners and staff, CSM Plus was the ideal software, edited with some bespoke additions to add functionality around the current practices employed by the hotel. Hardware installed included EPOS Touch Screen and PC units all linked by wireless networking.

I thought you and the team at CSM would like to know that since the installation in July of the CSM software, we are finding that not only are we saving time, things are running much more smoothly. I have outlined some of the benefits of the system below, as a testimonial to your skills in understanding our requirements.

There is no more writing out of receipts; bookings can be checked quickly and easily, should a guest require a table at our restaurant, reservations can be created at the same time as the guest makes their initial booking. Extra’s for each guest, such as bar tabs are no longer lost or not charged for, and when a guest departs their whole bill is itemised.

We have found many new reporting features we require are created and made available to us very quickly and efficiently allowing us to manage and maintain our business the way we want.

The Customer management aspects of the system have enabled us to both track our guests booking habits and also identify specific customer groups to offer special promotions & marketing to our most frequent guests or highest spenders.

The easy to use calendar gives us the ability to quickly check booking dates to accommodate telephone reservations and if necessary advise on alternative availability, ensuring a professional customer service is offered.

We are able to assign bar bills to rooms efficiently, reducing the risk of items being left off the bill.

The table booking functionality has prevented over-booking in our restaurant leading to a happier clientele.

Previous guests are stored within the system providing us with a fast, efficient way to obtain their personal details. The inclusion of notes against a guest, helps in reminding staff who our guests are, which in turn helps us to provide the guests with a friendly informed face.
